About the allotment
Ravensbourne Allotment sits alongside a railway line. If you’re travelling from London, you can see it on the left out of the train window between Shortlands and Bromley South stations.
There are about 30-35 plots in all. Mostly fruit and veg but also some flower beds, wildlife areas and a couple of small ponds. It’s a council allotment and is run by a committee made up of the keepers.
If you’re interested in getting a plot, the best thing to do at the moment is call the number shown by the gate out the front of the site. I’m not copying it here just in case…
